The courses listed below are included in the full curriculum and a select few are available as a single course. The base course material is delivered online, and the students have access to additional applications to assist with their learning. We also provide access to learning videos, interactive activities, AI, and awesome learning opportunities. A learning facilitator reviews the students’ work and provides feedback. The K - 8 Math course focuses on building a deep, conceptual understanding of mathematics while emphasizing real-world applications. The curriculum is structured to help students become confident problem solvers, critical thinkers, and active mathematical minds. The course expands across Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Number Sense & Operations, Algebra & Coding, Data Literacy, Spatial Sense, and Financial Literacy. The course is delivered online with a variety of tools to support your child; so, your child learns no matter where they study or how they absorbs information!

The Science course branches out into multiple learning areas. It leans heavily on life sciences, but also covers Earth and space sciences, as well as physical sciences. The course material is delivered online, but a variety of tools are used to ensure students thoroughly enjoy soaking up the information!

Art is essential not only as a course, but a method of expression for students. In this course we guide students to create art through various mediums, reflect on their experiences, and understand its cultural and historical contexts by interacting with it.

In the Music course, students are exposed to the critical elements of music, performance, as well as the various genres of music. The Social Studies course introduces students to the diverse world around them. In accordance with Ontario provincial standards, this curriculum places a vital emphasis on the First Nations, Métis, and Inuit (FNMI) perspectives, in addition to heritage and identity, people and environments, social skills, and psychology. It also introduces the Citizenship Education Framework, which encourages students to develop a sense of personal responsibility, active community engagement, and global empathy.

The African American culture is rich in history, art, tragedy, and heroes. At Boreal, we dive deep into the African American world by exploring the culture, art, and community with curiosity and appreciation. The course is delivered online through various tools and is available for grade K - 8.

This course is structured around the four core language strands defined by the Ontario Ministry of Education, keeping conversational confidence and practical comprehension. It is modelled after French as a Second Language (FSL) curriculum which includes reading, listening, speaking and writing.
